How Do You Get Though The Freshman Year Of High School?
If the thought of starting your freshman year causes you to feel anxious, you’re not alone. Nearly everyone starting their first year of high school feels a combination of excitement and concern. By preparing for these changes in advance, you’ll have an easier time adjusting, and before long, who knows–you may even like it. Be prepared mentally for the changes. High school will be bigger, your school day will move along faster, and the work is bound to be tougher. You’ll know in advance the areas where you need to work harder. Orient yourself to the layout of the school in advance if possible. Walk through the building in the spring for your class orientation, and then again when you have your school schedule.
