This could go either way really you should keep them very safe but if you have any proof at all that you purchased the item it will help contact EA through The Sims 3 Website and tell them your problem they should if they believe you give you a free download of the game. but other than that I’m sorry you will have to buy it again but tbh i wouldn’t i have the game and i get rather annoyed with it updates and eps are so fiddly and the graphics arnt much better than Sims 2 with CC hope I Helped It happened to my mate and she did the same. But any PC Game keep the Serial code SAFE!!!
