While the Nintendo DSi has a built-in web browser, owners of the previous DS model–the DS Lite–can still access the web using the Opera Browser. The browser is housed on a DS cartridge and launched like a standard DS game. To use the browser, you will also need the Memory Expansion Pak, which gives the DS more RAM to use when surfing the web. Using the Opera Browser requires a wireless Internet connection: the DS Lite cannot access the Internet through an Ethernet cable.
