How Do You Get The Opera Browser On The DS Lite?
While the Nintendo DSi has a built-in web browser, owners of the previous DS model–the DS Lite–can still access the web using the Opera Browser. The browser is housed on a DS cartridge and launched like a standard DS game. To use the browser, you will also need the Memory Expansion Pak, which gives the DS more RAM to use when surfing the web. Using the Opera Browser requires a wireless Internet connection: the DS Lite cannot access the Internet through an Ethernet cable. Pick up the DS Lite Opera Browser and the DS Lite Memory Expansion Pak. Both are available from gaming stores such as GameStop and EB Games, as well as websites that feature gaming products. Insert the DS Lite Opera Browser into the DS cartridge slot of your console. Place the Memory Expansion Pak into the GBA slot of the console.
