Forget about the outdated 3.x.x update, besides the 3,2 update was for ipad NOT any ipods/phones and the latest update you need to get and I have is iOS 4.0.2 so better to update it, and that’s what itunes will download when you check for updates via the itunes store and NOT 3.x anything anymore. I have an even older ipod then you the 2nd gen ipod touch and I updated it to iOS 4.0.2 already 🙂 Then you can get ibooks too and it says you need the 3.2 update only if you have an ipad! It’s a hybrid ipad and ipod touch/phone app!!!!
