How Do You Get Stickers Off Wine Glasses?
Buy a set of wine glasses and at least one is bound to have a label or price tag attached with stubborn, sticky adhesive. Stickers may not interfere with the use of your wine glasses, but your fine glassware will look better without those distracting bits of paper. Because scrubbing and harsh cleaners can scratch, etch or even crack glass and crystal, use the gentlest cleaning method possible to protect your wine glasses from damage. Gentler methods also take less time and effort than scrubbing. Pour about 1/2 tsp. light oil onto a cleaning cloth. Mineral oil, baby oil and vegetable oil are all good options. Rub the cloth over the sticker to fully saturate the sticker with oil. If you don’t have liquid oil, spray the sticker with a lubricant like nonstick cooking spray. Let the glass sit overnight. Loosen one corner of the sticker. If you can’t loosen a corner with your fingernail, use a piece of stiff cardboard, a plastic knife or other nonmetal object that won’t scratch the glass. Li
