How Do You Get Started With An Exercise Program?
Too often, people start an exercise program with the best of intentions, only to give up on it after a few weeks. There are reasons why people set themselves up to fail with their exercise programs and there are ways of making the whole process a lot less difficult. By getting started with the end in mind and setting realistic goals for yourself, you can get thru this very difficult phase–the beginning–and move on to the more enjoyable part–finally being in shape. Be absolutely sure that you are properly motivated. If you only ‘sort of’ feel like exercising, now is not the time to get started. Have concrete reasons for getting started and for committing yourself for the weeks to follow. You’ll need good reasons to keep you going when it gets tougher. Make sure that your goals are realistic to begin with.
