How Do You Get Stains Out Of Cultured Marble?

0

If your cultured marble has stains and is in need of a clean-up, don’t despair. You don’t have to replace it, and you may not even have to call in a professional for the job. Read on for a few inexpensive and easy ways to get tough stains out of cultured marble. Soak a cloth in hydrogen peroxide, place it on a dark stain, and leave it there overnight. In the morning, mop or rinse the marble with cold water. Mix 1/2 cup ammonia, 1/4 cup vinegar and 1/4 cup of baking soda into 1/2 gallon of hot water, and allow to foam. Use a clean sponge to apply it to stains on marble. Rinse after five minutes. Apply a “gel gloss” wax to renew the surface sheen if it is dulled by age or use. Have the marble professionally refinished if cleaning does not remove the stains.
