How Do You Get Spell-Check Working In Outlook Express?
Outlook Express is a basic desktop email client that is automatically installed on all PC systems running Windows XP. By default, Outlook Express has a spell-check tool enabled, which will check the spelling of all text in your outgoing messages. However, on occasion, you may notice that the spell checking tool has stopped working. When this happens, you may need to reload system files from the Windows installation CD. Close the Outlook Express program if it is currently running. Insert the Windows XP installation CD in your disc drive. Open the Start menu, click on “Run” and enter “msconfig” in the dialog box. Click on the “Expand File” button in the pop-up window. Type “csapi3t1.dll” into the “File to restore” text field. Press the “Browse File” button, navigate to the “csapi3t1.dll” file on the Windows XP installation CD and then hit “Open”.
