Need a transit visa for Russia? Check the things you’ll need and proceed to apply for one. First apply for the visa of the country where you are going, and make sure you have two free visa pages in your passport. Make a copy of your passport’s pages with your name and signature on it. Make payments payable to the Russian Consulate General. You or your company must also write a cover letter specifying the purpose of your visit, dates of arrival and departure, cities to be visited in Russia and the telephone or fax number where you can be reached.
