Yahoo! Messenger 9.0 allows users to attach additional features to the messaging program. These additional features, called add-ons, can be distributed by Yahoo! or by other programmers and manufacturers. In some cases, you may want to remove an add-on. You can easily install and uninstall these add-ons from Yahoo! Messenger by pulling up the Plug-Ins Manager window. Open Yahoo! Messenger. Enter your Yahoo! username and password to log into the Yahoo! Messenger service. Select the “Add Plug-Ins” option located in the messenger window. You’ll open the Plug-In Manager, where you can add, modify and remove add-ons. Select the Plug-In you wish to remove; click on it to highlight it. Click the garbage bin icon to the right of that Plug-In. Confirm that you wish to uninstall this add-on and the add-on will be removed from your Yahoo! Messenger.
