How Do You Get Rid Of The Hiccups (For REAL)?
This is a fool-proof method for getting rid of the hiccups, in my personal opinion. I’m sure you have heard all sorts of ways to get rid of pesky hiccups: drinking water upside down, a spoon full of vinegar, etc, but these have never worked for me! This method does indeed include holding your breath, but if you do it in the way that I will show you, you will have discovered a life-long way to stop the hiccups, as long as you have breath in your body! First, try to relax. Hiccups are a spasm of the diaphragm, and what we are going to do is change the pattern of your breathing and relax that muscle. Take a deep breath, but it does not have to be SUPER deep. Now, without letting any air out, suck in a little more air into your already filled lungs. Do not let you breath out yet! Now suck in some more air, a little at a time, without letting any air out. Your going to feel like you CAN’T get any more in, but just keep sucking in a little air at a time until you REALLY can’t get any more in
