How Do You Get Rid Of The Firewall Policy On A Blackberry 8800?

0

The firewall policy on your BlackBerry 8800 is a part of the overall IT policy to your BlackBerry Enterprise Service (BES) settings for your company phone. Your company uses BES settings to dictate how your BlackBerry 8800 accesses its intranet and security settings. Unlike most of the settings on a BlackBerry, the IT policy can’t be changed with a regular factory reset. Instead, you must use a program called JavaLoader Commander to reset your BlackBerry 8800 to true factory settings and remove the entire IT policy. Turn on your computer and open the web browser. Download the JavaLoader Commander to your computer. Navigate to the zip file location, usually in the Downloads folder. Right click on the JavaLoader Commander zip file and click “Extract all” to create an unzipped JavaLoader Commander folder. Connect your BlackBerry 8800 to your computer through the USB port. Open the BlackBerry Desktop Manager if it doesn’t start up automatically. (See Resource 2) Click “Backup and Restore”
