Pimples are caused by a variety of conditions, including hormonal imbalances, oily skin, poor diet and stress. This form of acne can develop anywhere on the body, but is most commonly found on the face, back and chest. Occasionally pimples may develop on sensitive areas such as the the eyelids, earlobes or lips. Extra precautions should be taken when caring for pimples that develop on the lip. Wet a clean washcloth with warm water. Set aside. If your hair is long, tie it back and secure it away from your face. Splash your face with warm water until saturated. Lather soap in your hands and apply to your face with your fingertips, using a circular motion. Gently rub your face with the washcloth in a circular motion. Avoid washing the lip pimple until the rest of the face is washed. This will prevent the pimple from being contaminated with facial oil and bacteria from other areas of your face.
