How Do You Get Rid Of Musty Odors From Books?

0

Over a period of time we collect books covering various interests. After we are done reading, we put them on bookshelves where they began to collect dust and odors. But there’s a way to get rid of those odors, all you need is a zip loc storage bag and baking soda. Place your book inside a zip loc storage bag with baking soda sprinkled inside for a few weeks. In order to get started, gather all your items and find an area in your kitchen with adequate space. Get a zip loc bag that is large enough to secure the size of your book Place your book inside the storage bag. With a small spoon, place baking soda around the book. Close the zip loc bag and set aside for three weeks. If there is still a strong odor after three weeks, place two more small spoonfuls around the book, close the zip loc bag and check back after an additional three weeks.
