Use the following information to help remove stains from an otherwise perfectly good mattress. Wet a terry cloth rag in a bucket of water and wring out the excess water until the rag is damp. Rub the bar of soap across the damp rag. Use three or four quick strokes to brush the soap across the rag. Start with a small section of the mattress, preferably where the stain is the worst. Working from the outside of the stain in toward the middle of the stain, rub the damp, soapy rag across the section in a circular motion, and then set the rag aside.
