Sometimes kitchens drains have a foul smelling odor. Drain odors are caused by trapped bacteria in the drain pipe of your sink. Kitchen drains should be deodorized at least twice per week to keep that smell from returning. Fortunately this is a pretty easy fix with a few different remedies to try. Pour 2 to 3 ounces of an antibacterial mouthwash into your kitchen drain. Allow the mouthwash to sit for approximately 10 minutes. Run very hot water from your faucet for a minute or 2. The antibacterial mouthwash will kill odor causing bacteria. Pour ½ of a cup of baking soda into your drain. Allow it to sit for 5 to 10 minutes. Run hot water for a few minutes. Baking soda is a wonderful deodorizer. Pour 1 ½ to 2 cups of white vinegar into your drain. Allow it to sit for 15 to 20 minutes. Run hot water for 2 to 3 minutes. Pour 1 cup of table salt into your kitchen drain. Add ½ of a cup of lemon juice. Allow to sit for 15 to 20 minutes. Pour very hot or boiling water into your drain. The salt
