You should never use a dandruff shampoo on hair that has been treated with henna. The sodium can make the henna turn your hair green! It sounds like when you use the dark brown the indigo did not take to your hair folicules. This can take up to 48 hours for a dark brown to actually get dark brown. If it has been 48 hours and the hair is still red then i would suggest that you contact the company you bought it from and seek their help. You may have just got the wrong product and it did not contain henna in it. If you do get a true product that is dark brown you should be able to just go over the red and end up with a nice dark brown color like you desire.
