How Do You Get Rid Of Ground Squirrels And Chipmunks?

They look adorable and harmless enough, but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. Ground Squirrels and chipmunks can do major damage to your yard, house and garden. Take these steps to get rid of them before it becomes a huge problem. Determine where the ground squirrels are nesting. You should be able to see the tracks and holes around your yard. Get a large bucket (the type that they mix paint in 5 gallon size). Fill it all the way to the top with water. Get some unsalted sunflower seeds and put them in the water so they cover the entire top. They will float, make sure it cover the top. Sunflower seeds are like kryptonite to ground squirrels they simply cannot resist them. Get the plank ready. Take a flat piece of wood and rest it against the bucket so they can walk right to the top. Put a few sunflower seeds leading up to the bucket. The ground squirrels will think they are in heaven and literally follow the seeds on the plank jump in the bucket, drown and not be able to get back
