Your dog can suffer from dry skin and dandruff just like you. There are a few reasons for this and there are some steps you can take to get rid of it. I will show you how in this article. Check to see what your dog is eating; the main reason for a dog’s dry skin and dandruff is diet. Not all dog foods are created equal; some are good and many are really bad for your dog. Get your dog on a good diet and this will greatly help your dog’s skin and coat (see Resources below for an excellent brand of dog food). Once your dog is on a good diet you can use some simple, easy-to-find products that will also help. The first one that I use a lot is apple cider vinegar. Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar is the best. Pour the vinegar onto your dog’s coat and work it into his skin. Rub vigorously and let it sit on your dog’s coat for about 10 minutes. After waiting 10 minutes you can rinse and shampoo your dog.
