How Do You Get Rid Of Crab Grass From Flower Gardens?

0

Crabgrass is a stubborn weed that spreads by seed. At first, it looks harmless enough–you’ll see only a few blades of green grass that emerge in a small spray. Each blade may appear to curl along its length. But before you know it, it grows into its characteristic, sprawling posture, and then it’s trotting across your lawn, plant by plant, infesting your flower beds in no time. It may take multiple tries and varying methods to eradicate it. Pull crabgrass plants. Thrust a garden fork or V-shaped weeding tool into the ground toward the center of the plant. To drive the fork or V-tool in, press on its shoulder with your foot. Once it is situated, push down on the handle to lift up the crabgrass. Control spreading the seeds. Immediately place the crabgrass into a bag; don’t toss it on the lawn. Spray it with vinegar. Vinegar will kill crabgrass, but you may have to apply the vinegar multiple times. Pour full-strength white vinegar into a spray bottle to apply it, but be careful–vinegar
