How Do You Get Rid Of AOL On Internet Explorer?
AOL’s Internet Explorer toolbar add-on allows users to search the web and receive instant notifications when an email is received. The toolbar also integrates AOL’s AIM client directly into the browser and allows the user to save form settings, so it will automatically fill in future forms with your information. However, the toolbar can be inadvertently installed when you install any number of AOL-branded software applications, including AIM. AOL has made the process of uninstalling the toolbar from Internet Explore extremely simple for users who have no need or desire for the program. Open the Internet Explorer web browser. Click the “Settings” button on the AOL toolbar. The button is located at the far right of the toolbar by default; however, it may be in a different location if you have customized the order of the icons displayed. Choose the “Uninstall” option.
