So you want to get rich or die trying? It is not easy, and you have to be really committed to working hard and making the most of every opportunity you find. Here are a few steps that the newly rich usually use to create their wealth. Ol’ Jed may have made his wealth out “shootin’ up some food” but you (and me) probably won’t. Playing the lottery, gambling, uber-risky penny-stocks, and illegal activities (e.g selling drugs or prostitution) are for losers and you won’t build long-term wealth with these methods; stay away from them. For starters, you need to have a consistent income that is enough to support yourself without being in poverty.
