Pet stains can leave not only an unsightly spot on your rug but also can hold onto a lingering odor that can make the whole room smell bad. Removing these stains isn’t nearly as traumatic as the initial discovery of them. Blot up any excess moisture with paper towels. Mix equal parts white vinegar and clean water in a spray bottle. Spray the area with the solution. Use enough to cover the area, but don’t over saturate it.
