How Do You Get Pet Smells Out Of Carpet & Furniture?
If you own a pet, then you probably already know that it’s not always the cleanest roommate. An occasional accident is bound to happen every now and again. Although you may confront the stain head-on, the odors may still remain as an unpleasant reminder of your failed cleaning. It’s essential that you properly deal with the original accident in order to prevent nasty odors in the future. Clean up any accidents immediately. For example, if your puppy urinated on the floor, soak it up by covering the accident with a thick layer of paper towels. Then place a layer of newspapers on top of the paper towels. Allow the papers to soak up as much as possible. Apply new, dry paper towels and newspapers. Repeat until you’ve soaked up as much as possible. Do not rub the area, as this will only push the stain deeper into the fiber and cause the odor to linger. Lightly dab the area instead. Rinse the carpet or furniture with clean, cold water.
