How Do You Get Perfect Hard Boiled Eggs?
Don’t you hate getting hard boiled eggs that aren’t cooked completely, or with dark colored greenish yolks, or where the shell won’t come off easily. Those problems are history when using this method. You will get those beautiful yellow yolks with nice firm whites and a delicious tasting egg. Put enough cold water into a pot to cover the eggs but do not add the eggs yet. Place the pot with water over a high heat source until the water boils. Change the heat to simmer and immediately add the eggs. Be careful. Use a spoon so as not to crack the shells or burn yourself with the hot water. Let them simmer for 16 to 18 minutes and then take the pot to the sink and run cold water into the pot for a few minutes. Remove the eggs and eat or place them in the refrigerator for later use.
