Use a white cotton cloth or paper towels to blot liquid stains. Do not rub the stains, as it will further ingrain them into the carpet. Rinse the stain with water. Once the initial liquid has been removed, rinse the stain with water and blot with the cloth or paper towel. Repeat this action until the stain is removed and the carpet is dry. Break up dried solids. Scrape the solids gently with a spoon and vacuum up the pieces. Then rinse the stain with water and blot with paper towels or a cotton cloth until dry.
