If you are a New York Mets fan, spring training is the best way to get autographs. The New York Mets Spring Train in Port Saint Lucie Florida and play their spring training games at Tradition Field which opened in 1988. Tradition Field is also where the Mets’ Class A Minor League team, the St. Lucie Mets play their games in the summer. Spring training in Florida starts in February with the team workouts. March is when they play their spring training games and most of the games start around 1 pm in the afternoon.
