How Do You Get Grease Stains Out Of Clothes That Have Already Been Washed?

Have you washed an article of clothing a million times trying to get that stupid grease stain out, but it just won’t budge? Don’t give up on it – help is here! Take the item, dry, and clearly identify the area(s) that have grease stains. Get Dawn or some other store brand of grease fighting dish soap, and apply directly to the affected area. Depending on the type of material, I like to work the soap into the fabric. If it’s a tough material, I’ll usually scrub it a little with a sponge. If it’s a delicate, I’ll just rub it in with my fingers. Leave the item sitting for 30 minutes or so. This gives the soap time to really work its way into the fibers affected by the grease stain. Launder like normal. Once the item is washed and dried, the grease stain should no longer be visible!
