How do you get from Newark Penn Station to Grand central Station?
I suspect you mean you are going into New York Penn Station, rather than Newark Penn Station. The NJ Transit and AMTRAK trains go from Newark Penn to New York Penn. Do you have a lot of luggage, or are you comfortable carrying what you’ve got up and down stairs? If you can handle the luggage on the stairs, the subway can be OK, but from Penn Station you have a transfer, if I recall correctly. Take the N train UPTOWN from Penn Station to 42nd Street, and then find the 42nd Street cross-town shuttle train to Grand Central. On the other hand, you can hoof it if the weather is nice — about a mile is all it is (Grand Central is 42nd Street at Park Avenue). If you have too much luggage for the stairs or the walk, take a cab. Not too expensive, maybe $5 to $10 depending on traffic, including a tip that might vary depending on the route and traffic.
