The Eon Ticket is a rare promotional item that is obtainable only by attending a Pokémon event or by using an Eon Ticket e-Card, which was available for a short time in 2003. The Eon Ticket allows players of “Pokémon Ruby,” “Sapphire” or “Emerald” to travel to a special island after defeating the Elite Four, where they can battle and catch a rare Pokémon.
