How Do You Get Dog Urine Smell Out Of Leather?
Dog urine can ruin many things, such as grass and carpets. Luckily, dog urine does not ruin leather and can be removed along with the odor it leaves behind. Leather shoes or leather furniture that a dog has urinated on can leave a musty smell behind when it dries, but good leather will not actually absorb the urine nor will it soak though. Leather tends to repel liquids, including urine, so most of it will be around the leather that was urinated on rather then the actual leather item. Examine the leather that has been urinated on to determine how much of it needs to be cleaned. If it is a sofa, chair, or loveseat cushion, you will want to remove the inner cushion if there is a zipper to do so. For leather shoes, remove the shoelaces, and if those have been urinated on, they can be soaked in soapy water and then rinsed. Make a solution of mild soap, such as Ivory dish soap and water, and dip your sponge in the solution and squeeze out excess water so that the sponge is not dripping wate
