These items are inexpensive to purchase. Soak up as much of the urine as possible with newspaper and paper towels. It is important to dab gently to avoid grinding the urine into the fabric. At this stage, do not use any water, simply let as much urine soak up as possible. Adding water can dilute the urine, allowing it to soak deeper into the fabric and spread.
