How Do You Get Christmas Decorations On A Budget?
Weather you are celebrating Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, or Kwanzaa, the holidays are a festive time to decorate and celebrate in your home. With money being tight for many people, some people get discouraged that they can’t afford to decorate their homes. Take heart! There are many ways to decorate for the season with little money or sometimes no money at all. Lend what you have and borrow what you desire. Do you have some decorations that are nice but you don’t want to display this year? Why not lend those decorations to a friend? Perhaps your friend has something she is not displaying this year that would look perfect in your house. You could even organize a ‘swap’ with a few friends very easily and return the decorations at the end of the season. Check out thrift stores. Places like Goodwill stores, LOVE inc. stores, and other thrift shops often have a great selection of seasonal decorations. Many times the decorations are like new and sometimes they are unique and original.
