How Do You Get Cheap Doll Clothes?
• Try looking online. Many online stores, such as Ebay, Craigslist, or Etsy sell doll clothes at low prices. • If you know how to sew or knit, you can make your own clothes. This is, however, difficult, even for an experienced sewer/knitter because of the size. • If you can’t sew much, but know enough to take in/let out clothing, you can take baby clothing you/your child outgrew, or get new ones from the thrift store and take them in to doll size. Also, if you have fabric clothes for smaller dolls, you can let them out instead. • The easiest method: buy clothes that are dry clean only and run them through the wash. They’ll shrink. It may take a few washes to get them down to doll size, though. Try trading with friends. If you know somebody who has the clothing you want, see if they’re willing to trade it for another article of clothing, or even a non-doll clothes item.
