If you’re addicted to the movement, the rhythm and the burn of a good aerobics class, you may be ready to become an aerobics instructor. Aerobics instructors plan the exact moves for their classes and make sure those moves are both appropriate for the types of people in the class and the desired end result. Although certification is not a law for aerobics instructors, some fitness centers will want you to be certified before they’ll hire you. The Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) claims to be the world’s largest fitness educator. It offers Primary Group Exercise Certification, which qualifies you to teach aerobics.
