How Do You Get Bumper Stickers Off Glass?
Bumper stickers left on glass for a long period of time seem to form an impenetrable bond. Attempts at removal are complicated by the fact that glass can be easily scratched. There are, however, ways to remove even the most stubbornly stuck stickers from glass without harming the glass or wasting a whole afternoon peeling the sticker off bit by bit. Apply the adhesive remover around all the edges of the sticker. Wait a few minutes to let the chemicals permeate the paper and adhesive. Scrape one corner edge of the sticker with a plastic scraper. A scraper can be purchased from a hardware store if one doesn’t come with the adhesive removal product. Hold onto the loosened edge and gently pull up. Slide the plastic scraper beneath the sticker, pushing a little as you pull the sticker up with the other hand. Add more adhesive remover if the sticker remains stuck firmly to the glass.
