Bleach is commonly used as a laundry aid. It disinfects and removes certain stains. Bleach stains themselves, however, are difficult to remove. Check the care instructions of the garment before attempting to remove a stain. Stain removal efforts may be a last resort in salvaging a garment. Add one tbsp. of sodium thiosulfate to one cup of warm water. Saturate a cloth with the mixture. Use the cloth to blot the solution on the stain. Blot the stain until the majority of the mixture has transferred to the fabric. Repeat the application if the stain has not disappeared.
