Many Illinois motorists who use the toll roads on a regular basis choose to get a toll pass known as an I-PASS. The I-PASS transponder is attached to the vehicle’s front windshield and allows your toll to be collected electronically. Motorists using the I-PASS don’t need to stop at toll booths, because the fees are automatically deducted from a prepaid account. Pick up an I-PASS transponder at a Tollway Customer Care Center or participating retail outlets. It can also be ordered by mail, phone or online.
