How Do You Get All The Kanto Badges?
Two games, Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, take place in Kanto. Each version has exclusive Pokémon. If possible, trade as often as you can with someone that has the other version. Attempt to trade for Fire, Psychic and Fighting Pokémon in the earlier stages of your quest. Choose either Squirtle or Bulbasaur for your beginning Pokémon. Perform the beginning quests and build your pokedex. Spend extra time in the Viridian Forest to capture a Pikachu. Train him to be at least the same level as your starter pokémon. Your Pokémon should average 14th level before going for the first Kanto Badge. Face Brock, the first Gym Leader, who specializes in Rock Pokémon. Lead with your starter pokémon (Squirtle or Bulbasaur) in this battle. Do not include Pikachu because his electrical attacks do not affect Rock Pokémon.
