How Do You Get A Windows Live Mail Account?
• Log in to your current 2 MB Hotmail Account. Click on image to enlarge • Go to “Options” and click on the “Personal” tab on the left hand side. Click on image to enlarge • Click “Language” and select English. • Click “My Profile” and change the country to USA, the ZIP code to 90001 and the state to California. Be sure to save your changes. Your account storage should be elevated from 2MB to 25MB. Click on image to enlarge • Wait until it is elevated to 250MB (about 2 weeks). • You have done all this because you can only sign up for Windows Live Mail with a 250MB Hotmail Account • Go to http://ideas.live.com • Click “If you are a beta tester, sign in here.” • Find the square which says “Windows Live Mail beta.” • Click “Learn more”. • Go to “Sign Up”. • Enter your Hotmail address, the same that you used in the previous steps. • In about a month, you’ll receive an invitation to join Windows Live Mail.
