If you want to work as an insurance adjuster in the state of Texas, you’ll need your Texas adjuster license. Follow these steps to take the licensing exam and fill out your application. There is no prelicensing education requirement to get your Texas adjusting license. You do, however, have to take the Texas Department of Insurance Prometric exam, or a course approved by the Texas Department of Insurance. If you are required to take the Texas adjuster test, you will go to the Prometric website (linked below) to schedule your exam.
