How Do You Get A Play-Doh Stain Out Of A Rug?
You must have told your children a million times not to play with the Play-Doh anywhere but the table. Nonetheless, the strange substance inevitably winds up embedded into your rugs. Play-Doh, in its typical shades of otherworldly colors, may not be an attractive complement to your decor. Successfully removing Play-Doh stains is indeed time-consuming, but entirely possible. All it takes is a lot of persistence. Allow the Play-Doh to dry thoroughly. Attempting to remove the Play-Doh while moist may result in working the substance deeper into the rug’s fibers, complicating the problem. Pick, scrape and/or brush off as much of the Play-Doh as you possibly can. Depending on the severity of the stain, you may be able to remove most of the Play-Doh from the rug in this way. Blot any remaining stain with a little mild soap and cold water, or with a small quantity of rubbing alcohol. Rinse the cleaning agent from the rug with cold water and blot once more.
