Step 1 Take advantage of the situation. If a guy comes to you and asks you to dance, you can tell them that you would love to, but that maybe you should get some drinks and chat first. After getting to know him a bit, you can take him up on the dance offer, and surely more drinks, or simply tell him that he is a really nice guy but that you aren’t interested. Step 2 Sit yourself down at the bar instead of a table where guys will see that you are alone.
