How Do You Get A Degree In Occupational Therapy?
As you study occupational therapy, you’ll learn more about how people move, live and work. You’ll learn methods for helping people with injuries or disabilities to overcome their fears and live more confidently and independently. An associate’s degree will enable you to work as an occupational therapy assistant. At minimum, you need a master’s degree to practice as an occupational therapist. Master’s of occupational therapy (M.O.T.) programs are competitive and difficult to gain admission into, so you’ll need to work hard and get as much hands-on volunteer experience as possible throughout your undergraduate program.
