How Do You Frontside Grind On Aggressive Skates?
A frontside grind is a basic skating trick that looks stylish once you’ve got it down. Learning the stunt is your ticket to more difficult grinds and tricks. Frontside grinds can be complex on their own or combined with more complicated tricks. Find a painted or waxed wall or rail to practice this trick on. Skate forward toward the wall or rail, keeping your feet square with your shoulders. Jump onto the edge, landing with your back to the street. Your skate grind plate should be on the center of the curb. Bend your knees and spread your legs out, keeping them about shoulder-width apart to help maintain your balance. Lean back as you grind the curb. Jump off when you feel like you’re about to fall. Return to the position you were in before you made the jump, keeping your knees bent, and continue skating.
