• Obtain small picture frames with glass or clear plastic dust covers. • Obtain leaves (ask permission if they are not on your own property). • Press the leaves. Press Flowers and Leaves is a good resource for this. • Obtain quilted material or fabric and quilt batting. • Open the back of the picture frame (usually cardboard held in with tacks or clips). • Remove any existing picture. • Clean the glass/plastic. • Place your pressed and dried leaf in the glass where you wish it to be. • Place the fabric and quilt batting over the leaf. • Press the cardboard backing back in place. The quilted fabric or batting will press the leaf against the glass, holding it in place. The cardboard will sandwich the leaf and quilted material into the frame up snug against the glass. • Re-tack or attach the cardboard backing. Display.
