How Do You Format Marks HP Keyboard?
Formatting your HP keyboard will enable you to utilize the functions of the keyboard from within your operating system. This is done by installing the specialized device driver for your keyboard, which contains the code necessary to tell the operating system what the different marks and buttons on your nonstandard keyboard mean. Insert the driver CD into the computer. Open “Start,” click “Control Panel,” open in “category view,” and click on “Performance and Maintenance.” Click on “System” and the “Hardware” tab. Click on “Device Manager.” Open the “Keyboards” menu and double-click on the entry for your keyboard. Select “Driver” and click on “Update Driver.” Select the letter of the drive containing the CD to auto-detect and install the driver, formatting the keyboard. Reboot your computer.
