How Do You Format An Acting Resume?
Your headshot and resume are your calling card as an actor. Sometimes they are your first impression, and how you will be remembered after the audition. So you want to be sure they present you as a professional. There is a standard format, with a little variation that will help you accomplish that. Open a blank document, in Microsoft Word, or OpenOffice.org Writer and insert a table with 3 columns. Be sure set the borders format to none/ no line, and make the gridlines visible. You will be able to see the table on the monitor but they won’t print on your resume. Put your personal information at the top of your resume. Include your name, email, phone number, height, and weight. Put your name in bold or a larger font than all the other text, this is the most important information on your resume.
