How Do You Format A Sony Memory Stick Duo?
The Sony Memory Stick Duo format is a proprietary memory format used to save music, movie files, and game data on the Sony PSP portable gaming system. The cards come in a wide variety of sizes, from as small as 32 megabytess to as large as 8 gigabytes. Formatting a Memory Stick Duo card is extremely easy, and can even be done directly from your PSP system. Power on your PSP with the memory stick you want to format inserted into the system. Once it loads, press the “Home” button. Navigate to the “Settings” screen, then select “System Settings.” Scroll until you see the option “Format Memory Stick.” Select this option, and press the “X” button to confirm. Confirm that you wish to format the card by selecting “Yes.” Your PSP will then automatically format the memory stick, deleting all data on it.
