How Do You For Working Mothers-Keeping Up With Housework?

0

My goal is to give working mothers some ideas for balancing a forty- hour work week and a family. Step 1- Make a day-by-day chore list. Pick two or three days out of the week to do housework. Don’t try to do it all in one day. For example, make Thursday your day to dust and vacuum, Friday is laundry day, and so on. Step 2- Enlist the help of your family. Children ages three and up are capable of doing simple chores. For three to five year olds, assign them to putting away their toys and dusting their rooms. Older children can also fold their clothes and do dishes. Once your children have their assigned duties, talk to your husband about which chores he would be most willing to take on. You can both do the dishes together, for example, or do yard work as a team. Step 3- Don’t stress about getting everything done. Try to spend an hour every evening with your family. Quality time is what your children will remember the most, not how the clean the house had been.
